Questions providers ask
Is it really free?
Yes. The listing, your public page, calls, WhatsApp, callback requests, reviews and posts are free forever. You only pay if you choose to accept residents' quote requests (launching soon), or for Pro.
Do you take a commission on my work?
No. You agree the price with the customer and they pay you directly.
How do I get verified?
Create your account with the mobile number you signed up with, fill your details and upload a photo of one ID (Aadhaar — masked is fine — PAN, driving licence, voter ID, trade licence or GST certificate). Our team calls your number to confirm, usually within 2 working days. ID photos are deleted once we decide.
What if a request is fake or the number is wrong?
Mark it as invalid within 48 hours and the charge is refunded to your wallet. We also stop requests from residents who misuse the service.
Can I get a refund of my wallet balance?
Yes — unused balance is refundable on request. Pro never renews automatically.
Can residents' reviews be removed?
You can reply to every review and report fake ones. Our team removes reviews that break the rules; nobody can pay to remove an honest review.
What does “Demand near you” show?
How many myNest societies and flats are around you, how often residents searched for your trade, the quote requests in each nearby pincode and how many came to you, and where you rank. It's free in the app (My business → Demand near you). You see counts only, never residents.
How are Neighbourhood Favourites chosen?
Once a year, from neighbours' recommendations — one per household, made in the 12 months before voting closes. You need at least 5 families from at least 2 societies, and once you have 3 or more ratings, an average of 4★ or better. The pro with the most recommending families in each trade and pincode wins. Pro and Featured don't count, and nobody can buy it.
I cook, bake or teach from home. Can I list?
Yes, from the myNest app if your society is on myNest: Around me → Services → “Run a home business?”. Your society sees it straight away, and you can get verified to reach nearby societies. Food sellers need an FSSAI registration. Society not on myNest yet? Ask your committee.
I'm a doctor. Can I list?
Yes, with factual details only (qualification, registration, clinic, timings), as NMC guidelines require — no ratings, reviews, awards, offers or paid placement. Health-awareness posts and camps are welcome.
